The Naked I explores the bodies of transgender, gender-queer and intersex individuals. Tender and heart wrenching, deeply funny and erotic, Davis takes the idea of a monologue-based play to a new level and boldly explores the land beyond “male” and “female.”
For the production of Zanna, Don’t!, a hip new musical fairy tale that takes place in a world where homosexuality is the norm and heterosexuals must battle anti-straight prejudice. Set in Hartsville High School, the plot revolves around a teenage “matchmaker” and the scandal that erupts when a boy and girl dare fall in love.
